My American Experience
My comment is based on my experiences as a young immigrant into this country back in 1970.
For me, Black Americans have been the most amazing and resilient people I have ever had the pleasure of being raised up around. When I was rejected by white kids, I found kindness in them. I learned so much about how to survive, how to be strong and stand up for myself. Along with just how fricking cool my friends were.
I have such deep respect for their history and find it abominable that we are not taught the entirety of their participation and sacrifices along with the true evil white Americans perpetrated against them. Honest to God, I don't know how they do it? I don't know that I could be that bigger and better person that they have collectively always been. My god what an amazing people!!!
I never thought I'd live in a timeline of such wickness. I thought those days were over and left to the black and white TV news reels and history books. What shame these wicked white people bring to humanity.
